Dear parents and staff of Trenton School...
At this time, the majority of the Trenton School district has power restored following the weekend's blizzard. Roads are being cleared in the region and our bus drivers have been reaching out to their families regarding transportation in the morning. For these reasons, District Administration has decided that school will be in session tomorrow morning, Monday, April 25th, with a regular start time and buses running on normal schedule.
While we know that power for some famiiles of our students may not be restored by the morning, we feel it is best to be able to provide school as normal and with an opportunity for our students to have a warm meals at school.
We hope that you've weathered the storm without serious hardship, but please feel free to call the school in the morning at 701-774-8221 if you have any questions or concerns.
Trenton School will make up the two days that were cancelled on April 13 and 14 on Friday, April 22 and Thursday, May 26, which is the new last day of school. Thursday, May 26 will be a 2:00 PM release.
School cancelled for Thursday, April 14 due to continued severe winter weather. No school Friday through Monday (April 15-18) for Easter Break. Reminder that there will be school on Friday, April 22 to make up today's school cancellation. An announcement will be made in the near future regarding making up Thursday's cancellation.
School today (4/12/22) will be dismissing at 1:30pm. Busses will run at that time.
NO School tomorrow (4/13/22)
Determination for school on 4/14/22 will be made on Wednesday.
Weather related announcements: All after school activities, including the After School Program, are cancelled for today. Elementary basketball games scheduled for today and Thursday are cancelled. Stay tuned for more updates as we get them!
Parents... as of right now, it appears that we may be in for some winter weather beginning tomorrow (Tuesday) morning or early afternoon. We will be watching the weather closely to determine whether we will need to make any decisions regarding an interruption to the school schedule (early release, late start, or cancellation). Please know that if we need to cancel school, we MAY use Friday, April 22nd as a makeup day and we will make such an announcement in a timely manner so that families can plan accordingly.

2022-2023 Trenton School Calendar
Due to a wind chill and winter weather advisory for the area, we are cancelling elementary basketball practice for today (Thursday, March 10).
The Region 8 boys basketball tournament games scheduled for this evening have been postponed. The semifinal round will be played Thursday, March 10th at 6:00 and 7:30. The Championship round will be played Friday, March 11th with games also at 6:00 and 7:30. The Trenton Tigers boys will play next at 7:30 on Thursday, March 10th.
Grades 5 & 6 Basketball Starting Soon!
The elementary basketball season will be starting practice on Tuesday, March 8 with practices being held after school from 4:00-5:30. A Sports Physical Form is required to be completed and on file with the school before a student can participate. SCHOOL AND BUSES WILL BE TWO HOURS LATE MONDAY, JANUARY 24, due to potentially icy roads.
Boys basketball games (JH, JV and Varsity) schedulded for Saturday in Ray have been cancelled. We will update if the games can be rescheduled.
More Basketball Changes - Friday, January 21
Friday's boys and girls double-header has been changed.
The boys games have been moved to Tuesday, February 8 with JV at 5:00 PM and Varsity at 6:30.
The girls games will still be played on Friday, but game times will be JV at 5:45 PM and Varsity at 7:15 PM.
Thursday's Girls Basketball games (JH, JV, and Varsity) vs. Divide County are cancelled due to team illness and COVID protocols. Attempts will be made to reschedule the games, but this may not be possible depending on schedules.
