Winter Weather Postings
Parents... we are all hoping this winter will be very quiet and weather will not affect school or activities, however, we live in North Dakota, so that's not very likely! So, with this in mind, it's probably a good time to remind everyone that when the school is faced with making decisions to cancel school, start late, or release early, the administration reviews forecasts, road conditions, and the actions of surrounding districts before making a call.
If we choose to cancel, start late or release early, we will post all relevant information in the following places:
~ this Facebook page;
~ an "all call" through our messaging system;
~ the school website at www.trenton.k12.nd.us;
~ WDAY;
~KFYR; and
~KX.
We also try to call the Williston radio stations but they do not always answer early in the morning when we make many of these decisions.

CHEERING FOR: ONLY HOME GAMES,

The After School Program is offered to all the children year round. During this season the program is exceptionally helpful for the children and parents. Days that the children have practice they are able to attend and the cheer coach signs them out at 4:30 for practice. Parents will have to make sure they are at the school to pick up the children when practice ends at 5:45pm.

Parents... please make sure your child comes to school dressed for cold weather. Wednesday's high is expected to be 37, but we will still go out for recess if it is not raining. It's simply that time of the year that we all need to pay attention to the weather forecasts and make sure that our children are safe from the elements. For parents of high school students who drive to school... does their vehicle have a winter survival kit? There is no better time than now to get these plans in place for the safety of our students!
