Homecoming is just around the corner, and we are excited to celebrate with our annual Homecoming Parade!
Each of our Freshman–Senior classes will be represented with a float, and we would love to see even more of our school and community spirit on display. We invite both school or community organizations to create a float and join in the parade. The parade will be held on Thursday, September 25 at 1:30PM.
The parade is a great opportunity to showcase your group, represent our amazing community, and help get everyone excited for the big home games – Volleyball on Thursday and Football on Friday!

Mark Mindt, M.S. Ed., is an illustrator, ND certified educator and citizen of the Spirit Lake Dakota Nation. He travels to schools across North America and promote these topics within my presentations: Improving Attendance, Increasing Positive Behaviors, and Encouraging Achievable Academics. He strives to cover the North Dakota Indigenous Education Initiatives of the 5 Federally Recognized Tribes of North Dakota with educational lesson plans to support the ND Social Studies Standards..

Reminder! Monday morning is CLEANUP DAY at Trenton School!
It looks like it will be pleasant in the morning with temps in the upper 60s around 9am and close to 80 by noon. Please remember to make sure your child wears appropriate clothing including:
✅close-toed shoes (do not wear flip-flops or other open-toed footwear.
✅a hat.
✅gloves - we will have some sterile gloves for students, but they are all encouraged to bring their own work gloves from home if they'd like.
✅You may also want to consider putting some sunscreen on younger kiddos.

This is just a reminder that there is a 2:00 PM early dismissal for Easter Break this coming Thursday, April 17th. There will be NO AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM on Thursday. There IS school on Monday, April 21st.
The administration of Trenton School wishes to inform our school community of an incident that occurred on school grounds late in the afternoon on Monday, April 7 in which law enforcement officials responded and effected an arrest of an adult male.
The facts in this matter are that a male was parked in his car in the parking lot near the daycare on a day in which the school was hosting a home elementary basketball game. By the time the school district was notified of his presence after school hours at 4:14 PM, law enforcement had already responded.
We want to emphasize that the incident did not involve any current students or staff members and occurred when school was not in session, but was hosting an athletic event. At no point was the safety of our students, faculty, or members of the public attending the home basketball event compromised.
The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and school community remain our highest priority. We remain committed to maintaining a secure and supportive environment and will take all necessary steps to ensure that our campus continues to be a safe place for learning and growth.

Spring Break will start with a 2:00 PM dismissal on Thursday, March 6th.
There will be NO AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM on Thursday and, obviously, all next week..
School will resume again on Monday, March 17th.
The office will be closed Friday, March 7th and all week March 10-14.
