Trenton School will open two hour late tomorrow, Thursday, January 9th, due to a high potential for icy roads during the morning hours. We will continue to monitor conditions in the morning and make any additional announcements if needed. Buses will run normal routes, just two hours later than normal. School will start at 10:00 am.
This is an important message from Trenton School. Due to high winds, icy road conditions, and a no travel advisory, there will be no school or school activities today, Thursday, December 19th. School administration will be looking at a possible makeup day later in the school year. On behalf of Trenton School, please have a safe and joyful holiday season!
Due to expected severe winter weather, Trenton School is cancelling all after school activies for Wednesday, December 18th. School will dismiss at the regular time and buses will run their regular routes. School administration will continue to monitor weather conditions through the evening and overnight hours, but at present, the plan is to have school tomorrow. If a decision is made to cancel school on Thursday, we will announce that later this evening or early tomorrow morning.

This is just a reminder that school dismisses at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 19th for an early start for Winter Break. There will be NO AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM on Thursday.
School resumes on Thursday, January 2nd and we WILL have school on Friday, January 3rd.

Trenton School Community... we have obviouisly entered Winter Weather Season, so it's probably a good time to remind everyone that when the school is faced with making decisions to cancel, start late or release early, the administration reviews forecasts, road conditions, and the actions of surrounding districts before making a call.
If we choose to cancel, start late or release early, we will post all relevant information in the following places:
~ this Facebook page;
~ an "all call" through our messaging system;
~ the school website at www.trenton.k12.nd.us;
~ WDAY;
~KFYR; and
~KX.
We also try to call the Williston radio stations but they do not always answer early in the morning when we make many of these decisions.
Trenton School will be dismissing early this afternoon on Tuesday, November 19th, at 2:00 with buses running at that time. All after school activities and the After School Program are cancelled for today.
