Trenton Public School is looking for substitute bus drivers, and we have an immediate need for someone who can help cover one of our regular bus routes while a current driver is on leave.
We are looking for someone who can drive during the following periods:
October 1st – 31st
November 16th – December 3rd
We would also love to add additional substitute drivers who could help throughout the school year when our regular drivers are unavailable.
If you have a CDL with the proper endorsements—or are interested in learning more about what is required—please contact the Trenton School office for more information.

What a great start to the Eight Mile School Year! Teacher In-service and the first two days of school was full of excitement. Teachers and students rolled out the carpet for everyone on our first day of school. The fire department joined in welcoming our students! Thank you PTO and all of our community members and parents for attending back-to-school night!

We are excited to welcome our students and families back for another great school year!
🕕 Back-to-School Night begins Wednesday (tomorrow) at 6:00pm in the gym for a brief welcome, staff introductions, and important information for the evening.
Following the welcome:
🏫 Elementary families and students will head to their child's classroom to meet their teacher and prepare for a successful school year.
📋 Grades 6-12 Families and students will receive instructions on where to pick up class schedules and locker information and have an opportunity to meet with staff.
⚠️ Important Information for Grades 6-12 Families
As we continue our transition to Infinite Campus, some student schedules may look different than expected or may appear incomplete. Please don't panic! We are aware of some scheduling issues and will work through them with students.
📅 Schedule Correction Meetings will happen Thursday and Friday with Mrs. Shirk.
✅ No sign-up is required.
✅ Go to Room 126 during the period in which you have the scheduling issue.
✅ We will work through corrections as quickly as possible.
⏰ Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so we can begin right at 6:00pm.

Trenton Varsity Cheer Team attended a 2 day UCA cheer camp, where they worked on their athletic skills, stunting safety, and leadership. Way to go team!

Celebrating the 25–26 School Year: Quarterly Awards & Field Day
The 25–26 school year closed with a joyful celebration of Quarterly Awards and Field Day, where every staff & student left with a smile and a sense of accomplishment.
NW Region Track Meet scheduled for tomorrow has been moved to Saturday in Stanley. Field events will start at 11am and track events at noon.

Due to high winds and low visibility, the Reading Carnvial scheduled for this afternoon at 5:30 is being moved to Monday at the same time. The Music Concert will be moved from Monday night to Tuesday night at 7:00.

Participants can build their Pinewood Derby cars in the Trenton School shop on April 24, May 1, and May 2 from 4–8pm (ages 11 & under with a parent).
