On Friday, November 13, Governor Burgum issued two executive orders in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The first is now requiring all high school winter sports and other extracurricular K-12 school activities to be suspended until Dec. 14. While the Governor's order does not take place until 12:01 AM on Monday, Trenton school is putting this into place effective immediately and means there will be no practices, open gyms, and contests during the duration of the Governor's suspension.

The second order requires face coverings to be worn in indoor businesses and indoor public settings as well as outdoor public settings where physical distancing isn’t possible. For the school this does not change what we already are doing, however, considering that since the end of August, every instance of positive COVID-19 cases in school have been determined to have been introduced from the outside, which places extreme importance on our public abiding by this mandate in hopes of keeping our kids safe and in school.

Please stay tuned for further information from the school as we continued to receive guidance from the state.
