Before the Christmas Break, Ms. Nelson's Kindergarten class learned the importance of giving back during the holiday season.

The students held a bake sale during a home basketball game, with many treats and baked goods made by parents and grandparents.

With

the money made, the Kindergarten class was able to buy gas cards and hand deliver them to the patients at the Leonard P. Nelson Cancer Center at CHI St. Alexius in Williston. These thoughtful gifts will help ease the burden of transportation costs for patients traveling to receive treatment.

We are so proud of these young hearts for showing that even the smallest hands can make a big impact.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported this effort – from baking and buying treats to cheering on our little heroes. Together, we’ve made a difference!
